Altinkum Beach at the shore of the pacific Gulluk Bay is a district of Didim town
The 4 Km promenade of Altinkum is a vivid place with numerous restaurants karaoke bars and cafes offering entertainment till dawn. Didim Altinkum Beach is well visited but there are numerous calm beaches clos to Altinkum Altinkum is a place more to compare with El Arenal of Mallorca 30 years ago rather then any other resort in Turkey Altinkum is 70 Km to the Bodrum Airport




Altinkum Beach at the shore of the pacific Gulluk Bay is a district of Didim town.

The 4 Km promenade of Altinkum is a vivid place with numerous restaurants karaoke bars and cafes offering entertainment till dawn.

Altinkum is a place more to compare with El Arenal of Mallorca 30 years ago rather then any other resort in Turkey. It is more recommended for home buyers who simply like to by the beach and like to be close to everything.

This is probably the place in Turkey where more English is spoken than Turkish on the streets. Many Restaurants and cafe's at the promenade are serving good meals to reasonable prices, well visited good places are the Big Ben serving international dishes and The Dolunay Restaurant, a romantic nice place to go for dinner.

Altinkum is 70 Km to the Bodrum Airport but there is also a short cut through the mountains over Kazikli, driving around the Gulluk Bay which is 15 Km less then the highway.
Izmir Airport is 140 Km from Altinkum and connected with a modern Motorway.
