This is probably the place in Turkey where more English is spoken than Turkish on the streets. Altinkum
is 70 Km to the Bodrum Airport but there is also a short cut through
the mountains over Kazikli, driving around the Gulluk Bay which is 15
Km less then the highway.
Izmir Airport is 140 Km from Altinkum and connected with a modern
Motorway.
