There is a coast line of more the 1500 km considering only the Aegean and mediterranean Sea except the Marmara and Black sea, starting at the Dardanelles and Saros going all the coast down and further east to Anamur Mersin 300 km east of Antalya,offering perfect conditions but the highlights are certainly the Kas Kalkan Region, The Bodrum Peninsula and Fethiye all three are considered as the best in the Mediterranean Sea.
Offering best conditions like Water temperatures between 19°C (January) and 29°C (August) crystal clear waters with sights up to 50 meters under water, marvelous themes like whole underwater ancient cities in the kas kalkan region and even exotic fishes coming from the red sea what is more and more observed probably due to the global warming you may also encounter a mediterranean monk sealsor a 200 kg Turtle may swimm with you. The waters around Bodrum and especially the Gokova bay is known for numerous ancient wrecks and also for reefs, underwater caves and canyons as in the Fethiye region. A lot of areas where arcane for divers in these regions due to ancient treasuries underwater but are accessible for divers now.
